Objectives:
By the end of this video each child will be able to
Define weather in their own words after the teacher's explanation.
Write the names of weather with correct spelling after doing the first activity.
Identify daily weather correctly after the discussion.
Education is no exception. Classroom layouts, teaching methods, ideas about testing y(and so much more) are transforming almost before our eye. Admits his rapid change is a sense of urgency. Educators are striving to transform learning environments to meet changing needs. Tech plays a crucial role, as districts scramble to create “the digital classroom of future” ICT is that one kind of a tool which is very prominent and used by all people, as a communicative tool, constructive tool as well as teaching tool etc..ICT as an teaching tool is a very effective tool which will enable both students and teachers to teach and learn certain lesson lessons using various features of ICT.
Knowing these advantages I have designed an ICT integrated lesson in the topic “weather”.
Creation of materials
For my lesson plan I have firstly used PowerPoint presentation with each slide with the description of weather, types of weather, characteristics etc.. next thing I used various types of colorful pictures related to my topic and place them in appropriate slides, only then I had to record each slide with the description (voice over ) and finally converted it into a video. My lesson will arouse children’s curiosity to learn since, it has many colorful pictures with animations as well as my voice in a form of video.
Usage of materials.
Since I have the full lesson plan in form of video with all the characteristics of a good lesson plan , one can teach it as a whole lesson plan, he or she can pause the video when it is necessary for example during the activity and if the students have doubts. This lesson plan can also be used as a summary to the topic weather.
